YUSHENG
Yu Sheng, also known as "Lo Hei" or "Prosperity Toss," is a traditional Chinese New Year dish. It is a vibrant salad made with various ingredients such as raw fish (typically salmon), shredded vegetables, pickles, and a variety of sauces and seasonings. The dish is usually served on a large platter, and during the festive season, family and friends gather around to toss the ingredients together using chopsticks while offering well wishes and blessings for the coming year. The act of tossing the ingredients high in the air symbolizes abundance, prosperity, and good luck.
